Gaijin Kanpai Ep. 165 - "Bi for Korean Music"
It all started so innocently. You’ve had one too many drinks when a Korean song comes on and you get into it. What’s the harm in a little experimentation?
165 - Bi for Korean Music
AFTERSCHOOL - Lady Luck | Namie Amuro - Uncontrolled
Download: [MP3]
Next thing you know your world is upside down and your identity is challenged by the edgey pop and synth beats of K-Pop. You’re buying songs in their native language instead of waiting for Japanese covers. What was once a monochromatic music scene is a rainbow of possibilities!
Your friends and family may not understand you but we do. We do.

Doesn't seem that this episode made it to iTunes.
Hmmm...maybe the episode did make it to iTunes. But for some reason it never got downloaded to me. Sorry for the false alarm.
Okay, third times the charm.....I thought I saw it on iTunes but no apparently it really didn't make it over there. Downloaded it from the website. But still thought I should mention it's not on iTunes in case there's other people like me who pick it up over there. Sorry for the confusion again. : )
Thanks for the heads up, Mith! Everything should be properly released now.
Yeah already seen it and picked it up. : ) Now that I've actually listened to it. I was also surprised Namie's Uncontrolled had so much English in it as well. I've also noticed that her English seems to have really improved in the past few years. Does anyone think she might possibly be considering making a push into the US? Maybe there's some other reason for so much English in Uncontrolled. But seems to me maybe she's seem some of the K-pop trying to make inroads to the US and is looking to do something along the same lines.
